We invite you to the official closing of the Teresa and Andrzej Wełmiński's 'Christmas Not Just Once a Year' at the Starmach Gallery. The exhibition catalogue is to be released during the event.
The catalogue contains photographic documentation of the exhibition and notes by Teresa and Andrzej Wełmiński.
First guests are to receive a free copy of the exhibition catalogue.

Teresa and Andrzej Wełmiński in 'Christmas Not Just Once a Year' refer to a story by Heinrich Boll from 1951. An inconspicuous satire in which a Christmas tree demands Christmas every day hides story of moral decay and mental problems. Boll inspired the Wełmińskis to create an ambiguous game with history, present and identity.

The Starmach Gallery will present a scenographic installation that creates the illusion of being inside a Christmas postcard from the early 20th century. The fable world of the eternal Christmas Eve atmosphere has its dark sides - it is a state of suspension in which we will never see the finale.
