Jacek Maria Stokłosa was born in 1944 in Krakow; he is an artist working in the fields of photography, graphics and exhibitions. He graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Forms and Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Since 1963 he was an actor of the Cricot 2 theater. Between 1966-1976 he co-run the Second Group with Lesław and Wacław Janicki. In the years 2002-2013 he was the Main Artist of the City of Krakow. For years, he was strongly associated with the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw and the Krzysztofory Gallery in Kraków.
